I am trying to use Windows evntwin.exe to send traps when certain task scheduler events occur. I can cause an event which appears in the Task Scheduler event log, but no trap.

I have confirmed the SNMP functionality works because when I setup event trapping for a Service Control Manager event, the trap is successfully sent. Wacom bamboo tablet driver download. Does anyone have any ideas why I can't get these traps to work?. I have tried this on a number of 2008 R2 servers and also on a 2012 R2 server, all with no luck. I have also tried using the evntcmd.exe alternative but this doesn't work either.

I am having the same issue with WSUS - I raise an event that appears in the WSUS log but a trap is not sent. Hi, Thanks for your reply.
I did further research and cannot find any useful information about it. It is appreciated that the other members in our forum can share their experience with us about this scenario. I will keep searching from our internal database or discussing with my colleague and give you an update if there is any useful information. Thanks fro your understanding and patience.

When i switch on Audit Policy on Windows 2008 server for registering maximum events, i can see among others event with ID 4656. This event correspond to event 560 in Windows 2003 (and older).
Then when i start 'evntwin' and try to make custom settings, i don'e see event with such ID in events lists but only with old IDs and if i add these (old) events nothing events transfered to destination. All necessary Windows 2008 SNMP service settings were made successfully. Using 'evntcmd' command with new event IDs don't bring success. Simultaneously similar configuration was made for Windows 2003 system and it work successfully. And when i use 'evntwin' utility in Windows 2008 in list of events i have items only with 'Success' severity and old IDs (below 4096) though i have correct setup for audit policy. In Widows 2003 we haven't such problem and can select events with different severity. Laura, can you tell about the chances of resolving this problem before the end of this year?
If you do not have such kind of information, please, tell if the issue has been accepted by the product group and when they are planning to release the fix? Laura, If I manually import the following registry keys, will it work with evntcmd or evntwin? Or is the issue in the code of the exe??
